It's been a good run. We had our ups. We had our downs, but I think that our time has come to an end. We've changed a lot over the past few years, and in that time we've grown apart. It's not me my dear, it's you. I need someone who can keep up with me, who lets me explore who I am as I grow and change, someone who makes me feel free to do what I want to do. I've grown tired of you and to be totally honest, I've found someone new. And they're not perfect, they're a bit messy and not totally mature, but they allow me to grow and express myself more fully. They make me feel more like myself. The past 3 or so years with you have been a whirlwind and I am so grateful for all the experiences we've had, but now I know more of what I want and need in a relationship and I think I've found the right match. Goodbye Standard T, and say hello to my new friend:
Unmapped Territory.

Hey what's up hello, I am terrible at balancing college and blogging but I am pretty dang skilled at putting together outfits. This outfit is from a few weeks ago when it was still warm enough to wear shorts and a light cardigan but I felt like it still needed to be shared for my friends in warmer climates (cough cough Austin) or for the gals who are brave enough to go out in bare legs when it's a bit chilly outside. I'm still trying to wrap my style into a neat little package, but I can easily say that I enjoy mixing neutral colors with various textures. When it comes to getting dressed bright and early in the morning before my 8AMs or going from class to work to hanging out, having a closet full of neutrals with a few fun accents makes it easy to put outfits together that work for any occasion.
I haven't been giving my chambray shirt enough love which is such a shame considering that it was an investment piece for me, but I have recently discovered that I LOVE how it looks with this marled cardigan. My favorite thing about this outfit is that you can wear it a million different ways. You can swap the shorts for pants or even a skirt, wear a thicker cardigan if the weather calls for it, wear flats, loafers, heels, booties, add bright lipstick, wear a different necklace or add a scarf instead. There's so many little changes you can make that will give you the feel of a new outfit and works every time, how cool is that?
